BibleVerse Gate collects minimal data necessary for the extension’s functionality:

• Email address (only if you sign in through Firebase Authentication).

  This is used solely to manage your user account and sync your saved or guarded sites.

• Guarded site data (list of websites you choose to protect).

  This information is stored locally in your browser and/or securely in Firebase.

• No browsing history or personal communications are collected.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used only to:

• Identify your account (via Firebase authentication).
• Sync your guarded sites and preferences.
• Display Scripture prompts on websites you choose.

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored either:

• Locally on your device using Chrome storage, or
• Securely on Firebase (Google Cloud), protected by Google’s encryption and authentication systems.
